Loading Scores

The Time: 7:00 PM EDT

The Broadcast: TV - MSG+; Radio - 660 AM WFAN

The Game: The New Jersey Devils (37-24-5) vs. the New York Islanders (28-29-9)

The Previews: My preview from much, much earlier this morning is right here. For the opposition's point of view, Dominik has this preview over at Lighthouse Hockey.

A Song for Tonight: I never really got into New Brunswick-based hardcore band Ensign. You might. Here's the third track from the album Cast the First Stone, "15 Years." Lou Koller of the legendary Sick of it All features on vocals along with Tim Shaw.

Gameday Info: Tom Gulitti confirmed this morning at Fire & Ice that tonight's starting goaltenders will be Martin Brodeur and Evgeni Nabokov. Gulitti also reported that the Isles are expected to scratch defenseman Dylan Reese and winger Michael Grabner; while the Devils will scratch Matt Taormina and Cam Janssen. This means Steve Bernier will be on the fourth line and Alexei Ponikarovsky will play with Jacob Josefson and David Clarkson - just like in Wednesday's practice.

As usual, you can use the comments in this post to discuss tonight's game before, during, and after it happens until the recap is up. Please remember the rules at all times. Namely: keep your comments clean, keep them on topic (read: don't snipe at each other - there's a game to discuss), and keep them legal (read: nothing about illegal streams - no links, no discussion, no requests). I'll provide the occasional comment here as well as a tweet here and there at @InLouWeTrust. Go Devils!
