So far the PK has been an achilles heel for us more than anything else in this series. In my view it all starts with taking the penalties to put yourself on the PK. After 3 games I hope the Devils realize that the Cats are down right dangerous on the PP. The Devils aren't even taking good penalties (like preventing a scoring chance), they've been stupid penalties like Patty's after the icing call last night. I also hope the Devils realize that Florida's PP gives them SOO much momentum. Whether its been taking the lead or clawing back the Panthers have always stormed off after they score a PP goal.

Anyways on to my thoughts on the PK. My solution is that we have to find a way to take away the point from Garrison and Campbell, you can't let them shoot or pass. All of the PP goals that Florida has scored (besides the Versteeg one in Game 1 and the Bergenheim one in Game 3) have all come off of rebounds from point shots or point shots that just beat Marty clean.

To finalize, the Florida PP has had a huge impact in all 3 games so far and the Devils cannot afford to take more stupid penalties and/or they have to find a way to kill them. So, what are your thoughts on what is wrong with the league's "best" penalty kill?
