New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode 65 - Onto & Into Round 2

Since Game 1 of the second round took place this afternoon, the New Jersey Devils podcast Talking Red was recorded in two spots. The first was done this morning with David Sarch, Tom Stivali, and myself discussing how the Devils eliminated the Florida Panthers in the first round, overtime, the best Devil player in the series, and whether Kevin Dineen outcoached Peter DeBoer. We also touched on the upcoming second round series against the Philadelphia Flyers. After Game 1, David and Tom discussed the 4-3 overtime loss to the Flyers in some detail.

Thanks to David for having me and Tom on Talking Red once again, particularly with the game sandwiched in the day. Here is the direct link to this week's episode at the TR website. Remember, you can also find Talking Red at iTunes and Stitcher. This episode is 47.15 MB large and 51:30 long. Lastly, you can just continue on after a jump for a stream of this episode. You can give us your comments and questions to talkingred at gmail dot com, tweet them to @TalkingRed, or just leave them here in the comments of this post. Here's David's description of this week's show:

On this week's episode David is joined by John and Tom. They briefly recap the end of the series versus Florida, the feelings of overtime and recap the series. They debate who the best Devil was and try and figure out if Pete DeBoer was outcoached at times. Then, they move onto the Devils' second round foe, the Philadelphia Flyers. The series is previewed and David and Tom recap a tough game one loss.

Thanks for listening.
