What happened to the Devils?

I am a Flyers fan but one of the level headed ones. I actually like the Devils best out of the Atlantic Division (other than the Flyers of course).

I have a serious question to ask you guys:

What in god's name changed between the regular season devils and this team?

I know our season series was 3-3. But I honestly felt the Flyers outplayed the Devils in every game except your 4-1 win over Bob. Even the 6-4 win we outplayed you but had atrocious goaltending. And the only other win you had was a 4-3 shootout that was gift wrapped by two horrendous late turnovers.

I don't think many of you will argue that on a whole on the regular season the Flyers outplayed the Devils. But that is not the case in these playoffs. You guys have outplayed us in every respect. I don't mean to sound condescending but you were not this good during the regular season nor were you this good in the Florida series.

I don't want to think that the Flyers are being outplayed because "we aren't trying" but please enlighten me what changed for you guys? Was it a player coming back from injury? A change in style or something?

I want a reason for why my team is being flat out beat other than "The Flyers are playing bad and the Devils are playing good" That much is obvious. But sincerely as fans of the Devils, What changed for you guys?

Hope I came off as respectful.
