New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode 75 - Time for Plan B

With the big news that Zach Parise signed with the Minnesota Wild (my written thoughts here) along with several other New Jersey Devils free agents re-signing with the Devils, it was time for David Sarch and I to talk about it on a new episode of Talking Red. Of course, we talk quite a bit about Parise. We also talk about the new deals for the fourth line, Bryce Salvador, Martin Brodeur, Johan Hedberg, and what the Devils should consider going forward.

There are a number of ways to listen to this free agency-focused show. You can get it directly at the Talking Red website. You can get it at iTunes of Stitcher. You can even continue on after the jump to listen to a stream of it here. Either way, this show is 30:46 long and 14.09 MB large. Here's David's description of this show:

After holding off this week's episode until Zach Parise made his decision, episode 75 is now ready. David is joined by John from In Lou We Trust and they talk about the decision Zach made in signing with the Wild. They also discuss their personal reactions and the emotions with it on a personal level. After that they discuss the contracts handed out to Salvador, Hedberg and Brodeur, examine a congested blue line and start to look ahead to the coming week. They talk about what plans B, C and even D could like like for the Devils.

Please feel free to leave any comments or questions about this week's episode in the comments to this post in addition to hitting up the Talking Red email (talkingred at gmail dot com) or twitter (@TalkingRed). Thanks for listening.
