Greetings Devils fans,

I am not sure if advertising for charity events is allowed on this site, but because it is for a good cause, I am going to give it a try. The UMDNJ Medwings, the ice hockey team for the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, is hosting a charity ice hockey game at the Amerihealth Pavilion, the practice rink at Prudential Center, this Friday night. All proceeds from the event will go toward the Restore the Shore Foundation in benefit of the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The game will feature New Jersey Medical School versus New Jersey Dental School. We set a fundraising goal of 5 thousand dollars, and still two days out, we have received over 4,500 dollars. As one devils fan to another, I know that you or someone you know was affected by this devastating storm. Here is your chance to help out.
