New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode #105

TalkingRed.com

On this week's episode of the New Jersey Devils podcast, David Sarch, John Fischer, Dan Pennucci, and Steve Lepore all discuss the Devils 2-1-1 record in the past week and answer plenty of listener questions.

The New Jersey Devils actually earned more than half of the available points in the past week for the first time in quite some time. As a result, this week's episode of Talking Red has more good feelings than bad. A nice change of pace for host David Sarch and guests Dan Pennucci of TR & Rotowire, myself, and Steve Lepore of Puck the Media at SBNation. The four of us went over all four games in some detail, highlighting the high and low points of each game. We also discussed today's news of Stefan Matteau being sent down; the Devils' strong (and unsustainable) ratings and attendance; what the team needs in a trade (hint: it's a scoring winger); Tom Kostopoulos, and answered several questions from listeners via Twitter. All that and anecdotes about Barry Melrose from Steve!

I'd like to thank David for having me on the show; and thank Dan and Steve for appearing as well. As usual, there are several ways to listen to this week's episode of Talking Red.
