New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode #107

TalkingRed.com

On this week's episode of Talking Red, David Sarch and John Fischer discuss the Devils three straight games of post-regulation losses, Jon Merrill and Reid Boucher signing ELCs, the upcoming trade deadline, and so much more.

Good evening, I'm here to let you know about the latest episode of the New Jersey Devils podcast Talking Red. David Sarch and I recorded our thoughts about a frustrating week of Devils hockey with three straight one-point games. A shootout loss to Ottawa, a shootout loss to Tampa Bay, and an overtime loss to Florida. A three-point week that could have and probably should have been five. David and I go over all of that while talking about ELCs to Jonathon Merrill and Reid Boucher, the upcoming trade deadline and why we think not much will happen with New Jersey, shooting by the defense (this is the post I refer to when I brought that up), and a few questions from listeners like you.

Incidentally, I'd like to have an aside about the site. This week will also feature the debut of two new additions to the ILWT staff. Mike "nyynygnjd" Stromberg will be writing regularly on Tuesdays starting this week and JT "HELLAWAITS" Sroka will be handling Gamethreads starting tomorrow. So when you see two new names on the lede, you can now say you saw it coming. Welcome JT & Mike to the site all the same.

Back to Talking Red, I'd like to thank David for having me on this week once again. As usual, there are several ways to listen to this week's episode of Talking Red.
