New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode #110

TalkingRed.com

On this week's episode of the New Jersey Devils podcast Talking Red, David Sarch, Dan Pennucci, and John Fischer discuss the end of a long winless streak, goals, players, listener questions and so much more about the team.

Two wins! It's been so long since the New Jersey Devils got two wins within a week. They ended their ten game winless streak and their two game goalless streak on the same night and then routed an opponent for a change in their next game. Therefore, it was much more fun for David Sarch, Dan Pennucci, and myself to talk Devils hockey on this week's episode of Talking Red. We talk about the end of the winless streak and it's low points. We discuss how the Devils really dropped a hammer on Florida. We answer questions such as "Is Ilya Kovalchuk more important to the team than Patrik Elias?"; "Which pick-ups from this season should be kept for next season?"; and "How good is the core of this team?" We touch on the announced outdoor game for next January, David Clarkson not being terrible for one game, and recent news. We did quite a bit in one show and even threw in a few digs at Toronto.
