— Tom Gulitti delivers some bad news via his Twitter account. Also, there's no broadcast by MSG or WFAN. I can't sugarcoat it, this sucks.
Basically, the only local coverage will come from the Philadelphia side; the Comcast Network on TV and 610 WIP on radio. Thanks to Travis at Broad Street Hockey for that info. Please note that discussion of streams isn't allowed here.

Could this mean that the Devils have finished working on a more cap friendly deal with Kovalchuk and they're seeing if the NHL is okay with it? We'll see...
UPDATE: Dmitry Chesnokov reports that the deal w/ Kovalchuk will be announced in the next 24 hours.
Update #2: Tom Gulitti has confirmed that the Devils have not submitted a contract for Kovalchuk. Lou, Grossman and Vanderbeek were discussing the structure of the contract.
