The New Jersey Devils have been terrible, and pressure is mounting for the team to fire John MacLean or change the captain. I explain what I believe are the root issues to the problems that have plagued the team - and firing the coach or changing the captain won't necessarily fix them.

The New Jersey Devils re-signed Ilya Kovalchuk to a massive contract today. While the details aren't official, I offer my thoughts on what the Devils management, coaches, players, and Ilya Kovalchuk have to be concerned with going forward.
