The New Jersey Devils made a few important signings: Henrik Tallinder, Anton Volchenkov, and Johan Hedberg. I have plenty of thoughts and questions about the signings; I doubt that the Devils got better overall, but perhaps I am wrong.
The Devils have signed Henrik Tallinder for 4 years at $13.5 million ($3.375/yr). The former Sabres defender will surely bulk the Devils defense.

In continuing to analyze unrestricted free agent centers for the New Jersey Devils, the 23 centers are examined by their on-ice and on-ice impact at even strength from this past season.
Continuing to look at UFA centers for the New Jersey Devils in 2010, I compare them by goals versus threshold to determine what they've done last season for their respective teams and what role they could play in the future.
Who should the New Jersey Devils target among all of the UFA centers this summer? This post breaks down who will be examined in the next few days based on their ice time and total faceoffs, while noting their faceoff winning percentage in 09-10.
