Tom Gulitti reported earlier today that goaltender Scott Wedgewood has signed a three-year entry level contract with the NJ Devils, who drafted him in the third round of 2010. Wedgewood has played 42 games for Plymouth, a record of 28-9-2-1-5, 3 shutouts, a 91.2% save percentage, and a 2.97 GAA. . Congratulations to Wedgewood for signing his first professional contract.

USA Hockey has announced 40 players who have been invited to take part in the United States National Junior Evaluation Camp. New Jersey prospect and Michigan defenseman Jonathon Merrill is one of the 40 named and one of 7 who represented America at the WJCs last year.
