Andy Strickland is reporting that the New Jersey Devils have re-signed Cam Janssen. It'll be a two-way deal where he'll get $575,000 in the NHL and $105,000 in the AHL for a season. Yeah, a guy with no goals, 1 assist, 17 shots, and less than 5 minutes of average ice time in 48 games while being a possession black hole got a new contract. I don't need to make a full post to explain that I don't like this move at all. Just look at the Player Usage Chart for NJ at Hockey Abstract and weep at #25.
