Free agency began today and the New Jersey Devils have done nothing as Zach Parise has been given many offers. Since Parise needs a day to think it over, which delays the Devils from signing anyone else.
With 6 UFAs including Zach Parise & Martin Brodeur, and about $9 million from the salary cap floor, the New Jersey Devils will have a lot to do today - the first day of free agency for 2012. This is an open post for Devils fans to discuss and react to what's happening.
In this post, I take a look at the other unrestricted free agent goaltenders, highlight how unimpressive the market is, and conclude that the Devils can't replace Martin Brodeur but could possibly replace Johan Hedberg through free agency.
