Must-Read: Gulitti's Thoughts on Brent Sutter's Departure

Gulitti has been on top of the Devils' coaching situation, reporting today that Peter Laviolette isn't in the running and following up on Jacques Lemaire and Kevin Dineen. But Gulitti put together this well thought out post about the departure of Brent Sutter. It's a must-read. It's level headed, it's got insight via hindsight coupled with perspective. If you were to ask me to point to a definitive analysis of what happened, this is what I would link to you. And if you want some red meat after reading that, there's this article from "The Maven" Stan Fischler at Max Hockey. I can't say I disagree with his central thesis.
