The New Jersey Devils traded for Jason Arnott today and initial thoughts focused on how he's returning to New Jersey. However, this analysis shows that the trade was not made for nostalgia, but for offense - and Devils fans should be excited about that.

With the trade deadline coming up so shortly after the Olympic break, I put together a categorized list of the New Jersey Devils roster of who I think can and can't be traded as well as everyone in between.
