For some reason, Travis Hughes wanted to let everyone know that you can still get Devils playoff tickets. It's a bit weird that a Flyers fan wants to let Devils fans know that they can get playoff tickets, but whatever. The Rock making money is money made for the Devils. By the way, feel free to get some deals for Game 3 and Game 4 at StubHub. Keep in mind that you'll have to go to Philly for the game itself. Thanks, Travis! P.S. Never? I found this out during the Rangers-Devils game. The recap will be up shortly. The official site has all the details on how to be compensated for a free ticket for the postponed game on 1/8/2010. The only group this doesn't really favor are the full STHs. But if you're unhappy, there's an e-mail address where you can send your questions/complaints. Be polite, if you use it.

Gulitti got off the phone from Jeff Vanderbeek and the game will be finished tomorrow at the Rock at 6 PM. Anyone who has a ticket from that game will be admitted for free.

I guess Cameron's not coming back to the Rock. Admittedly, I felt he was good at what he did - charisma came natural to him and it provided actual atmosphere at the games. But it makes sense for the Devils to bring in an actual fan for this. Good luck to him or her though! Hat tip to the Devils forum at HF Boards for finding this out.

Today took me by surprise! An excerpt of a post about the possible deal to give the NJSEA control of day-to-day operations of the Rock actually was published in the New Jersey section of today's Star-Ledger. Seriously, it's right next to the letters to the editor and they excerpted quite a bit! For the benefit of those who saw it in the paper, I'd like to point out it was part of a rather long rant about it - linked above. Also, welcome to In Lou We Trust! Though, it's not "Arena Wars," and I don't really care where the Nets end up. I just don't want the NJSEA near any control at The Rock. Thanks.
